What is trafila?

Trafila closes the wood grain by applying fine layers of polyurethane lacquer to give a smooth base. These fine layers do not chip when cut on a Morso mitre guillotine, unlike a thick layer of compo / gesso.

Glass Spacers are useful when memorabilia framing or float mounting artwork. If ordering on Chop Service, give measurements to the back edge.

Ordering chevrons?

As this moulding is particularly narrow we're unable to supply the usual chevrons. Instead we'll send a 190mm sample piece.
