25mm Primed Finger Jointed Pine with Pasta Emboss Frame Moulding

The Finger Jointed Pine base profile is primed ready to paint, while the wood pasta emboss is primed ready for gesso or paint; it is not suitable for use raw or with a wax/stain.

This profile can be used as a slip or a moulding.

Colour & Grain: Light brown with a distinctive, wide grain. We supply Southern Yellow Pine which is largely knot free. The base profile is topped with a brown embossed wood pasta.

Cutting & Joining: Pine is easy to cut and join on professional framing equipment.

Finishing: Pine has a relatively high resin content so spirit based paints are most effective. The embossed wood pasta will not accept wax or stains. Take a look at the range of finishing paints.

Ordering bare woods: We take care to match the grain and colour between lengths as far as possible but it’s important to be aware that bare woods vary more widely than finished woods. They can also be a little more prone to warping and twisting.
