9636 3M 987 ATG Double Sided Tape 12mm x 55m 1 roll

Very popular in framing workshops for bonding mountboards when making double mounts and for similar tasks

ATG adhesive transfer tape has high tack, is double sided and is permanent. On the ATG 700 Applicator it is always ready for use, is easy and accurate to apply, gives minimal waste and needs no clean-up.

3M ATG Tape #987 is a lower-cost alternative to the more well known #924. With a coating thickness of 0.4mm it is perhaps slightly less sticky than #924 but still very adequate for most tasks in the framing workshop. It offers good adhesion to most paper, board, plastic films and similar materials.

The 55m rolls are on 25mm cores and fit the 700 ATG Applicator. It has good UV resistance and ageing properties. Made in USA

3M ATG #987 rolls have a dry leader to help loading, are unbranded and the 3M cartons are white. Order as single rolls or save by ordering 12+ rolls

Working with self-adhesive materials in cold weather? When the temperature drops remember to let self-adhesive tapes, PVA glues, boards and mounting films come up to room temperature before using them. Keep them that way for a few hours after application while the adhesives cure.
